COPIER SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our award-winning solutions include digital copier/printers (color and black-and-white), fax systems and multi-functional devices, document storage and retrieval systems.
We are currently seeking Field Service Technicians with excellent electronic and mechanical skills to become part of the front-line service team. The job will consist of performing preventive maintenance and repairs on digital copiers, fax machines and printers in a connected environment. We provide tools, training and supervision. After training, you will go to various customer sites and perform service on equipment in their location. We are currently filling positions in the following locations:
Saskatoon
Regina
Reporting to the Service Manager, the essential job responsibilities are:
- Complete required training programs
- Promote good customer relations
- Performs preventative maintenance at scheduled intervals on digital copiers and fax machines in customer's office
- Perform emergency repairs and preventative maintenance on digital copiers and facsimile equipment in accordance with the highest standards of technical services
- Performs or assists with installations, setups of copiers and fax machines and assist with the movement of equipment
- Installing and training operators on the use of our products
Communicates with customers, dispatch and other personnel
Candidates require the following qualifications:
- Post secondary education diploma in Electrical or Electronics
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude and good mechanical skills are a must
- Experience with the repair of electronic devices, a definite asset
- Computer systems and networking skills only enhances your worth
- Reliable transportation, a neat appearance and good communication skills
- Superior customer service skills
- A valid driver’s license
- A self-starter who is career minded and motivated to advance to higher service technician levels
