SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Regina

Reporting to the Manager, the essential job responsibilities are:

  • Consistently identifies new sources of business.
  • Present information effectively and persuasively across communication settings. 
  • Develop and maintain successful long-term customer relationships
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for maximizing sales within assigned territory
  • Be knowledgeable on all product offerings and services to maximize business opportunities
  • Coordinate support to achieve total Customer Satisfaction
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to improve skills and achieve goals.
  • Closes the sale by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating empathy, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.
  • Inspires others with drive and motivation to sell aggressively.

Candidates require the following qualifications:

  • Post secondary education, preferably in Business or Marketing and/or equivalent experience
  • 1 year sales experience in the office equipment industry or a related field or a proven track record in successfully building customer relationships
  • A good work ethic and sense of accomplishment, the ability to work independently or as a team and a burning desire to succeed
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with decision-makers and to deal effectively at all levels of an organization
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and strategic thinking ability
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle and $1,000,000 business liability insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems and networking, a definite asset
  • The commission-focused sales professional generally is the most successful
